On Thursday 6th March our staff and students celebrated World Book Day!
Students and Staff came to school dressed as a character from their favourite book or comic, there were some brilliant costumes and everyone looked fantastic!
The students completed a Harry Potter Themed Escape Room activity and spent the afternoon discussing the importance and joy of reading.
There was a competition for the best book review, the winner wrote a brilliant review of the autobiography of ex-Liverpool player Luiz Suarez.
We also held competitions to design the best book cover and also who was best dressed according to our headteacher.
Our winner for best dressed was a student who came dressed as Wednesday Addams!
It was a really nice to see the students engaging with their favourite books and we had an amazing set of costumes turn up for the day!
