This half term, the students have been working extremely hard, being creative and passionate about their learning. They have been working on non-fiction writing where they have been studying about formal/informal letter writing, newspaper reports, review writing and advertising.

We have also, been doing various starter activities and spelling challenges. They have really betrothed in this as they are a competitive bunch! Who would have thought it?

Throughout their English lessons, we have embedded SMSC in their learning where we have done some work on Black History Month. Students were captivated to learn more about how life has changed for the minority and what was done.

Students loved researching about different influencers and what role they have played to support the modern society. Students have created fact files and wrote a rap to enhance their knowledge.

Over the last few weeks, there has been immense progress in the students learning. They have flourished and have pushed themselves in their erudition.

I am proud with how far each student has come and will carry on succeeding in their learning in the upcoming term! Well done to all the students for their hard work.
