Year 7 enjoyed a trip to the Science Museum, Magna in Sheffield recently. This was a great opportunity to bring some of their learning to life.

It focuses on Air, Water, Fire and Earth and there are plenty of hands-on learning experiences and links to steel heritage. Staff and students had a great day and one of the highlights was Sci-Tek.

There is a large ‘hi-tech’ playground. The play features develop co-ordination and balance skills, whilst encouraging young people to make choices and play interactively.

Students were a pleasure to be with out of school and gave great feedback.
