On 24th January 2024, we were really pleased to welcome Sergeant Jassel of the British Transport Police to our school and he delivered an assembly on Rail Safety for our students.
Sergeant Jassel clearly explained the dangers present in regard to trains and railway tracks and he instructed students on how best to keep themselves safe.
The students were told that should they ever encounter an issue on a train journey that required police attention then they could text the British Transport Police on 61016 for support.
Students listened with interest and responded with their own questions which Sergeant Jassel ably answered.
We are extremely grateful for the close working relationship that has been fostered with the school and the British Transport Police and their efforts in helping to safeguard our school community.
We look forward to them visiting us again next year.
