Interim Executive Headteacher
Tawanda Madlangobe
Dr. Tawanda Madhlangobe is a leading educator, academic and father of two. He qualified as a teacher from the University of Zimbabwe in 1993. Tawanda is deeply committed to the well-being of disadvantaged learners, hence his pursuit of a Bachelor of Philosophy in Special Educational Needs at the University of Birmingham.
He then went on to study for a Master of Education at the University of Hertfordshire, awarded with a commendation.
In his research, Tawanda focused on how to measure and understand disaffection as part of these studies. In 2008, Tawanda distinguished himself as a recipient of the Teacher of the Year award London Secondary School category for his outstanding work with disaffected students. He went on to study for a Doctorate in Education Degree investigating how educators use the experiences of students to design alternative curriculum provisions.

Debbie Lee

Debbie has worked in a variety of education settings over the past 20 years with the majority of her career spent in special schools. Debbie has taught a wide range of subjects during her career including English, EFL, history, science, PSHE, ASDAN and Food Technology. She has held the post of assistant SenCo for the past seven years at Cambian Wisbech School and is also part of the senior leadership team. Debbie is committed to helping all of the young people at the school to obtain the best opportunities to achieve their goals.

Jennie Sharp

Jennie has been the school’s administrator since joining Cambian in July 2016. Jennie’s background is that of 23 years working in the travel trade, but then moved into education in 2007 working for the Skills for Life Team at the College of West Anglia, Wisbech Campus. She held various roles such as an administrator, Tutor of Maths, Learning Coach and finally as a Progress Coach. Jennie is a dedicated member of the team and her knowledge of the surrounding local area and her organisation skills come in very useful in the school. Jennie enjoys working alongside the staff and with the students when possible.
Deputy Head Teacher
Naomi Flaherty
Naomi joined the school in September 2009 and qualified as a Teaching Assistant. As Naomi was keen to become a teacher and enjoys undertaking new courses to build her knowledge, she continued studying, became an instructor delivering English and qualified as a teacher. As Naomi is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs she took on the role of SENCO in September 2020 and joined the senior leadership team.
Operations Manager
Ricky Crane
Ricky joined Cambian Wisbech School in 2014 as a Teaching assistant. Over the years Ricky has taken on a number of different roles within the school such as Maths Instructor, Trip/Activities organiser and Fleet Management to name a few. Ricky then left the company for a year and on his return was an Instructor working 1-1 with the students as interventions.
Whilst doing this, Ricky completed his DSL training and was shadowing both site leads and filling in for them when required. Ricky is now the Operations manager where he oversees the Timetable, staffing and Health and safety to name a few. As he is meticulous and thorough with his details.
Outside of work Ricky enjoys playing darts and bowls (bowls of which Ricky did play a qualifying match for England) and will open admit he is a huge fan of Harry Potter.

Jesse Woodward
Jesse came to Cambian driven by a profound desire to improve the lives of the young people she supports. She takes pride in enhancing her skills through various courses.
Jesse is committed to being an emotionally supportive adult for all students she encounters on her path. She holds the conviction that all behaviour is communicative and advocates for giving children the time they need to process their experiences fully.
Governance Board
Termly Governance Board meetings are held at Cambian Wisbech School to ensure that the management of the school is closely scrutinised and held to account in all areas of responsibility.
