On Friday 18th October some science students visited the British science festival at the museum of science and industry in Manchester and their current Covid exhibition ‘Injecting Hope: The race for a COVID-19 vaccine’.
Students got to explore the uses of graphene in everyday objects such as helmet and to clean drinking water. They went inside a brain simulator to look at the effects of media on the brain.
They also looked at how the design of bespoke football boots for footballers and other sports can reduce their chances of cruciate ligament injuries.
