Specialist Education

On Tuesday 4th March 2025 students experienced an Art workshop called 'Splash and Dash'.

The day started with the students meeting William (Kilo) in the Art room. They were spoken to about the safety and consequences of Graffiti and spray painting in public. They were then shown some Graffiti pictures and told some of the History of Graffiti and where it originated from.

The students were then shown how to do Graffiti writing and the different styles. The students had a go at this themselves on paper, and in the afternoon the sun was shining they went outside to be shown the techniques and the safety of using spray paint which the students really enjoyed.

The students then made a Home Tree sign for the school which looks superb and the students are really proud of.
