Head Teacher & Designated Safeguarding Lead
Katharine Steele
Katharine has over 20 years teaching experience, 10 of which has been in SEMH setting. She is nurture and trauma practice trained and has a passion for enabling students to access education through a therapeutic approach. Though a primary trained and Maths specialist, Katharine has extensive experience in training and developing staff practice in curriculum, development, teaching and assessment. Katharine is passionate about promoting mental health and wellbeing for all members of the school community and is looking forward to promoting these values within the school.
Lead Teacher
Olivia Lampard
Olivia has been teaching for 5 years in a private school and also in total has 10years experience working nurseries and schools. Olivia gained her BA Hons degree in 2017 and gained her QTS in 2021. She completed her ECT with ‘outstanding’ and completed her SENCO Level 2.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as traveling to different place to see different cultures and tell the children about it. Olivia wants to being positivity and a family feel to the setting and hopes she can provide the children with all the best opportunities in their education.
Lead Teacher KS4
Kate Sheffield
Kate has been teaching for 25 years and has worked with children of all different ages and abilities. She has worked in mainstream schools, colleges and SEMH schools. Her speciality is Vocational Studies and English.
During her spare time Kate likes to go horse riding and going for long walks with her dog.
Kate was to bring her knowledge to the Cambian Great Dunmow School and share it with the children as well as maintaining an organized work space for the children to feel safe, comfortable and achieve.

Governance Board
Termly Governance Board meetings are held at Cambian Scarborough School to ensure that the management of the school is closely scrutinised and held to account in all areas of responsibility.
