AS HUMANS IT IS ESSENTIAL TO HELP THOSE AROUND US

Student Kian, from Cambian school, Beverley attended Welcome House in Hull this morning to volunteer his time and worked with staff and guests.

Welcome House is a provision in Hull which assists refugees and asylum seekers with their basic needs and links them to local services. It also serves to build friendships and community so that nobody feels isolated.

We recently received approval from the Caretech Foundation for a community grant to be donated to Welcome House, and Kian is photographed here handing over the money, with school staff member Chris.

Thank you to the Foundation for supporting this request and we hope this sum of money can assist Welcome House towards a current project.
