Rupert joined Grateley House School in October 2017. A consistent larger than life presence, he has grown in stature and confidence in the time he has been at the school.
Rupert has a particularly keen sense of humour which he has honed over the years, often resulting in a prank or two.
After gaining GCSE's in Art and Science, Rupert was able to successfully navigate a Level 1 Art & Graphics course at Wiltshire College. That same year he also moved residence from the main site at Grateley House to Stratford Lodge.
Rupert has become more mature in recent years and has faced up to challenges in areas he recognises he finds difficult. This year for example he has worked on gaining qualifications in English and Maths, knowing that this was his last year at Grateley House and knowing that he finds these subject particularly tough.
Rupert leaves us to take up an apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery at a prestigious Sussex company. We are all exceptionally proud of him having gained this position prior to leaving the school.
It is always a big change for anyone that leaves Grateley House School and Stratford Lodge, it can be an exciting, yet challenging time; however, we truly believe that Rupert will find ways to navigate through the challenges ahead and forge his own pathway into the future, no doubt using some of that brilliant creativity he has.
At our Celebration of Achievements Day
Rupert was awarded the Sixth Form Trophy for Personal Achievement
