Specialist Education
Pengwern College celebrated Armed Forces Day on 28th June. We had the Welsh Guards in attendance, one of our tutors is ex Welsh Guards and we are continuing our link with the regiment, we also had attendance from the Royal Navy.

The highlight of the day was our very fly past by a T2 Hawk from RAF Valley, this was a very special moment for us all and a magnificent sight! Members of North Wales Police from our local stations also came along to support the day.

Paul Roberts, a tutor at the college who used to serve with the Welsh Guards organised the whole day, what an incredible achievement. We had an obstacle course (manned by other members of the teaching team), ration packs for lunch and music and fun throughout the day.

The obstacle course was a great success with some healthy competition between the Welsh Guards and the Police who attended.

What a day! Thank you everyone.
