Students and staff at Whinfell School have been getting festive in the run-up to Christmas.
Wednesday was their Christmas dinner day, a delightful occasion, bringing everyone together to enjoy a festive feast.
Following on from their Christmas dinner, they held their annual 'Whinfell Talent Show' an event which never disappoints; from the magic tricks of their Principal to the comedy sketches of their students, there was also some beautiful poetry readings and even some Morris Dancing this year!
On Thursday they ran their second Christmas Fair! Last year was such a success that they decided to do it all over again!
The community spirit was fabulous as always and they received donations of prizes and gifts from local supermarkets, bakeries, B&Q and Halfords.
This year they have truly exceeded their fundraising efforts from last year (£200) and raised a whopping £300!
The students met the Community Liaison from Morrisons and went on to spend their fundraising total on food for Kings Food Bank!
