As part of their English lessons earlier this month, students were asked to write a poem for National Poetry Day, with the theme this year being the environment.
ALL entries were excellent; some were acrostic, some included rhyme schemes, some were written with help from others but the two which were most effective and thoughtful were those written by our two students are shown below.
The layout and use of language was completed independently and we are super impressed with these two, which will be entered in to the national competition. Well done!
