And so here we are… the end of our first exam season since COVID-19 meant that external exams were removed. We just had to celebrate so students enjoyed a day out as a reward for either completing the exams so positively, or being so patient and quiet around the house, allowing exams to go ahead unhindered.
One of our groups went to Half Moon Bay in Heysham to collect sea glass and pebbles, whilst enjoying the sea breeze and sun.
Our other group went to the Butterfly House and small zoo, at the Williamson Memorial in Lancaster.
There may have been some ice creams devoured during the day but it would be rude to go out on such a beautiful day and not enjoy a scoop or two!
