Today we had a virtual question and answer session with Judge Climbe from the Bournemouth Crown Court.
Students from Primary to Post 16 were able to get involved as part of their Personal, Social and Development programme.
The questions the students asked were fantastic and included:
- What is the longest sentence that you’ve given?
- What are peoples reactions to long life sentences?
- Do you have to wear the wig?
We have also been invited to attend the courts at a later date to observe cases and to meet Judge Climbe in person.
It was a wonderful start to the day here at Southlands and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
