A large group of students attended a heart dissection as part of their science lessons, with two students watching and others participating. Students were given the option to participate or watch the dissection, as it is not for the faint-hearted!
It was great fun and very informative, with students seeing the parts of the heart and how the heart works, pumping blood around the body.
The feedback from all students that took part was very positive, they really enjoyed it and learnt a lot from this session. We love practical Science as it give students an oppertunity to see things first hand and benefits all learners.
