World Mental Health Day aims to spread awareness about mental health and the importance of looking after it!
The day is a chance for everybody to talk about mental health and emphasise how important it is to reach out if you are struggling. The day was first celebrated in 1992 at the initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health, an organisation that advocates mental health education worldwide.
On Monday 10th October our students took part in a wide variety of activities to make them aware of the importance of having positive mental health and wellbeing.
They took time to think about different ways in which they can help themselves to reduce worry and stress and also what to do if they feel that they need help and support with their own or others mental health and wellbeing.
