As part of our in school reward system we run an end of half-term reward trip. Students have to earn 70% of their available positive points throughout the half-term in order to be able to attend the trip.
We have found this system to be very positive and it teaches our students the life skill of working towards a goal.
Last half term our students our students chose Splashdown water park as their trip. Our students had a fantastic day and some even challenged themselves to go on the infamous devils drop slide!
To finish the day, one of our students requested to use his positive points to buy the students and staff Dominos Pizza for lunch rather than spend them on something for himself in the school positive points shop.
Staff and students were bowled over with his generosity!
