Robert Jablonski, one of our class teachers at Hill House School, has been awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in Autism from Birmingham University.
He has a degree in Mathematics and a PGCE and has worked at Hill House for four years, supporting many students to make great strides of progress, and is particularly praised for his gentle and empathetic approach with the young people.
Rob worked towards this qualification for a year, attending weekend workshops and seminars in Birmingham as well as joining local study groups on a regular basis.
The course has not only made such a valuable contribution to Rob’s own professional development, but will bring new ideas and knowledge to the team at Hill House
“I enjoyed the course at Birmingham, it helped me to reflect on my teaching practice, showed me some of the most up to date research on autism education and it taught me how to do my own educational research, around the effectiveness of using ICT in the classroom”
Congratulations Rob!
