A very seasonal activity took place during the last week of the Autumn half term, a trip to the local pumpkin festival, where students experienced a wonderful variety of pumpkins on display.
There were thousands of pumpkins, squashes and other cucurbits to admire and pop into a wheelbarrow. Many pumpkins were brought back to school to carve into lanterns ready for those dark nights.
What an experience, with spooky displays and fields of orange, this was the perfect way to end the school term and look forward to Halloween!
