World Book Day was another resounding success at Grateley House School this year.
There was an impressive turnout of students and staff wearing an amazing selection of different costumes to reflect their book of choice. We had a Fantastic Mr Fox, Anne of Green Gables, Matilda and the Teletubbies to name a few! Competition was fierce as there were prizes for the best dressed student and staff member.
Mrs Harvey our passionate and enthusiastic English teacher, created a brain teasing visual quiz where participants had to guess the book title, author and three facts about the plot by looking at four picture clues. This certainly created a buzz around the site.
To further celebrate our love of reading and literature we will be welcoming author Mike O’Leary into school on the 22nd March to meet the students and read to them – Exciting times!
