On Friday 4th November, 7 teams of 3 took part in our first 3v3 Basketball Tournament here at Grateley House School.
This tournament was set up as part of one of our students Level 2 Sports Diploma in planning and organising an event. As well as to develop the confidence in our students after practicing Basketball throughout the last term during Physical Education.
Unfortunately, the event had to be postponed from the original date due to weather conditions, however the sun decided to shine along with the determination of both staff and student to create a great event.
Trophies for the first 3 teams were given and diplomas for all the participants, but most importantly, it was great to see students enjoying the opportunity to be competitive and collaborative within a team as well as engaging positively in their personal and physical development.
