On 3rd February KS3 students went on an educational trip to ‘Eureka’, the National Children’s Museum in Halifax.
This is a fully interactive museum where nothing is behind a glass cabinet! They have over 400 interactive, hands-on exhibits designed to inspire enquiring minds to find out about themselves and the world around them.
The students enjoyed explored six unique zones that each had a different theme. They were able to make sounds and explore how music is created as well as experiencing the world of work, taking over a child-sized town. They were even able to step inside giant body parts!
Everyone certainly had a fun day out, whilst also having the opportunity to extend their thinking skills and learning.
