Potterspury staff and pupils were lucky enough to welcome in local charity, Do it for Defib, into school last week. They led an hour long session, for staff and pupils, that focused on how to resuscitate someone who is not breathing and how to use a defibrillator safely. Charlotte, who led the session, was kept alive by her husband, Stewart, having gone in to cardiac arrest on Boxing Day in 2018, she now uses her experience to help others understand the importance of basic CPR. Pupils engaged brilliantly and Potterspury Lodge will hold a mufti day on Friday 8th November to raise money for the charity.
