To celebrate World Animal Day, students had the fantastic opportunity to get up close with some beautiful and unusual animals. Animal Encounters with Chris Johnson visited us at our Buckfastleigh site and brought a three-banded armadillo, a madagascan tenrec, a blue-tongued skink, a royal python, a pygmy owl and African sun beetles.
Everyone had the opportunity to meet these amazing animals and learn more about them.
It was a valuable and exciting opportunity for all involved and everyone came away sharing different facts and information they had learnt.
