Three Year 9 Students recently enjoyed seeing one of the machines which kick-started the Industrial Revolution as part of their GCSE Science work on Energy Transfer.
The Newcomen Engine enabled water to be pumped out of coal and tin mines far more efficiently than the horse-drawn predecessor.
