As part of community engagement week, Devon School have been collecting food to donate to our local food bank Torbay Food Alliance.
Every day people in the UK go hungry for many reasons, but just a small box of food can make a big difference.
Foodbanks provide emergency food to people in crisis and their need is increasingly important especially since the increase in living cost. Torbay Food alliance is part of a network of foodbanks that work to tackle food poverty and hunger across the UK.
At Devon School we hope to make a food donation to Torbay Food, to support the school’s local community and families in need.
