To celebrate British Food Fortnight we visited the local town of Totnes to explore the independent shops to try and make our lunch using only locally sourced ingredients. We then researched why it’s important to eat British, seasonal food and to support our local businesses. We discussed food miles, sustainability and the importance of supporting local businesses to support our community.
We also used the grounds of our site to forage for our own seasonal produce to cook with.
