Our students took part in various activities this week for National Careers Week which included looking for work placements, creating CV's, having mock interviews and writing cover letters.
Careers advisor Gemma Armer attended to inspire our young people and the staff team shared previous experiences from past careers and their journey through educational pathways.
We also completed workshops in regards to motivational awareness and confidence when aiming for further prospects within the career sector in the future. Students have attended careers fairs which have led them into a pathway they want to proceed in the near future.
In the next couple of weeks we hope to get the young people to attend more careers events and are looking forward to a trip to Manchester and Liverpool University for the next event "What University".
