Today our young people had a very busy and exciting day, celebrating Christmas in style!
Our Admin team decorated the dinner hall, with Christmas table cloths, crackers and decorations and a wonderful Christmas dinner (which smelt delicious) was cooked by our very own Mark!
When it was time for the young people to come to the hall to have their dinner, they had the option of all the trimmings! Beautiful golden brown roasties, stuffing balls, sprouts (of course) and the all-important pigs in blankets. The students looked like they were having an amazing time pulling their crackers and enjoying their delicious dinner.
Our local MP Simon Hoare was also kind enough to give The Forum School some time out of his very busy schedule, to help serve the meals to our young people alongside our wonderful team members Lorraine, Julie and the Senior Management Team.
Once everyone had eaten it was down to the arena for our young people, witha very special visit from the man of the hour himself, with a big round belly full of delicious mince pies and a sack full of presents.
All the young people enjoyed their time with Santa, the Elves and the Shetland ponies Winnie & Pooh who dressed up as Santa’s reindeer. The gifts were all received really well and one young person was so excited that he sat on Santa’s lap.
For the couple of young people who could not make it to the arena, Santa went to them, with the elves, and his ‘reindeer’ in tow. They were delighted to see him.
Thank you to all the staff involved for creating a magical day for our students.
