World Book Day was recently celebrated all around the world, and many schools took part in this fun activity and dressed up as characters from wonderful books.
Our young people from Cambian Scarborough School did not shy away either and got into the full swing of the celebration.
The young people and teachers all took part to celebrate the joy and value of books and reading, especially for young people.
We asked the young people to come to school dressed as any character from any book, and as you can see from the photo all the teachers joined in too!
On the day, there was a prize for the best fancy dress costume and the young people enjoyed some fun book-themed activities, as well a quiz all about books and their authors!
