Cambian Red Rose School has been awarded a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted, following its first recent inspection.
The school is an independent, DfE-registered, co-educational day facility, providing specialist education for up to 30 students aged between 5-18 years old.
Cambian Red Rose has a good reputation for providing high-quality, personalised education for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. The success is based on an approach which combines high expectations with sensitivity to the needs of individual students.
Ofsted inspectors were shown around the school at the end of March and recorded many positive comments in their report: “The leadership of Cambian Red Rose school is outstanding. Leaders are exceptionally well organised and acutely responsive to pupils’ individual needs. In addition, and with the full support of all staff, leaders are determined in their ambition to nurture and develop pupils into competent and confident young adults.”
The report went on to say: “Pupils achieve well. They make good, and sometimes outstanding, progress in a wide range of subjects, including English, mathematics and science.”
Well done to all the staff and young people at Cambian Red Rose School on your achievements!
