Dilston College promote British values by supporting students to develop an appropriate and meaningful understanding of the themes of democracy, individual liberty, rule of law and mutual respect.
Students are exploring themes such as friendliness, courage, care, respect, aspiration, selflessness, forgiveness, kindness, equality, freedom and generosity. British values form part of the college’s work to promote the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of students.
The students have found this to be an interesting and wide ranging topic and as such they are engaged and enjoying their learning.
