Bodmin Jail Prison Trip

Four students from Somerset School visited Bodmin Prison and survived the experience! Set in a gothic location, with dripping stone walls and echoing passages, bars on the widows and a myriad of different exhibitions to see and interact with, the students followed a tour guide around and listened to her spooky tales of hauntings, murders and hangings within the prison walls! The pupils represented themselves really well and listened to the tour guide with baited breath! They even got a chance to stand in the windowsill where the last ever hanging took place in the prison! Every one enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to revisiting the escape room which is currently being built – if they dare!
