Last month, our young people and staff from the Forum School hosted their annual arts week. This year’s theme was recycled materials and each class had a different material and idea to work with.
Our young people really enjoyed the task and produced lots of fantastic artwork, which will be displayed around the school.
They have used a wide range of recycled materials including plastic bottles, old puzzle pieces, old credit cards, ribbons, buttons, newspapers, magazines, wax crayons, pallets and lot of paint! They have produced a range of different sized canvases and 3D work.
Alongside all the creativity, we also had a competition called ‘what’s in a box?’ They received so many amazing entries, ranging from a magic moneybox, an African habitat and a washing machine!
Everybody had a lot of fun and are looking forward to seeing their art around the school!
