On 18th October 2018, we announced the completion of the acquisition of Cambian by CareTech Holdings PLC ("CareTech"). This represents an exciting new chapter for Cambian as, together with CareTech, we become one of the leading providers of social care services to both adults and children in the UK.

The completion of this acquisition brings together two highly complementary service offerings and areas of geographical focus. We can now provide integrated care pathways nationwide, whilst also better servicing local authority partners and continuing to deliver strong user outcomes.

CareTech has announced that it will retain the Cambian brand and that John Ivers, COO of CareTech Group, will oversee Cambian operations.

The management team is committed to maintaining the wellbeing and safety of the children and young people in our care and are confident that, through the complementary skills and expertise of the enlarged group, the teams can integrate the two businesses with minimal disruption.
